Alright, awesome. I wish i hadn't purchased the 3...4 inch ones i have now lol. But I suppose you can never have too many. I figure I will order a few more 2 inch ones then as I only have (6) 2x30 (3) 3x30 and now...(3) 4x30.

As for the tarps, is there a more specific kind that people like? They water proof? And now it will be on a 38 foot trailer as a 40 foot was too long and put me over the 65 foot rule. =-/

Is there a best place to buy straps, chain/binders, and tarps?

Mytee's got good stuff but my new favorite straps come from autohauler supply. Check out the diamond weave ones. Super tough material..

Wanna buy a nice 2014 Load-Max. It was custom built at 39' deck length to specifically keep my rig under the 65' rule. Keeps you legal with any crew cab long box..;)

    12k dexters
    EoH disc braked
    Sliding winches
    Good 14ply rubber

Day late and a dollar short my friend! I have an Anderson 38 footer being made currently. About a week and a half out. I will probably get a load trail/max next after I get a foot hold in the industry and understand my needs with all of the options load trail offer.

Tends to be the way my luck has been lately. Its hard to find other like minded people who are willing to sacrifice that extra foot to play by the rules and keep their rig legal.

Congrats on your trailer purchase, & good luck out there. Put some freight on that deck & go make some cash !!

I appreciate that. Here's to hoping, after all of the hoops they make use jump through, that I can make some money lol.

I run a 3500 ram with a 35+5PJ ratwd at 29500lbs. It is equipt with sliding 4" straps and 8 5/16x 20 foot chains and binders. As for tarps I carry one 24 foot 6 foot drop tarp and wentto lowes and bought a cheapy just in case the load is a bit longer.
I would calculate all your operating expenses and find out per mile you have to make to break even and add 10% (that would be on the low side) or simpley try to stick to 2- 3.50 per mile. You should make some money at rhat rate.

Also make sure the straps you do buy. Have the rating's on them. If not DOT will look up the low weight for that size strap or chain. And you can find yourself. With a ticket, for not having enough Strap's or chains to do the job.
Seen a guy last week in town here. He had 6 harbor freight stap's on his load. It looked to be a heavy load. So sure he was not a happy camper after he got the tickets.
