Could a guy just put that over the carpet floor, or would it be to high?? Looks great by the way.

I wish I could do that on mine. Dang plywood floors in the old A-Models. Maybe I'll put a steel floor in so I could go the hardwood route.

You absolutely could. I used 2 layers of the red foam sold at Home Depot and the wood I used was thick. I will have to double check but it was like 3/8-5/16 I was surprised. I still had maybe 3/8 space left under the drawers on driver side and under the fridge on passenger side.

I have tons of that foam flooring stuff but never thought to use it. That would maybe make the floor too high to go under the fridge and drawers.

Why can't you do it on plywood,it's just like having a sub floor. You could even change the plywood, use some marine grade.

Probably be too tall. The door sill trim probably wouldn't fit on it properly.

I got a sleeper but biggest part that needs planks is where the seats are. Sleeper itself is mostly bed... did you buy the laminate kind that snaps together?

    bigguns Thanks this.
