Mike doesn't now how to use that equipment, but I'm sure he learned a thing or two after experimenting on your radio.

How was this measured?

 

I can think of 5 or 6 guys that could have given you better results in a timely manner.

If I had customers backed up for a year I'd train another tech and clean up the backlog. Oh yeah and make more money. I guess some people are happy where they are though.

 

I occasionally get thru Louisville.

Am impressed by that man’s posts on another forum and recommendation of him by others knowledgeable.

Not with a trailer attached. It's a small busy street. Kinda tight.

What would prevent that person from opening up his own business or sharing any of the knowledge he gained with a third party who might possibly open up a competing business or spread that knowledge for free to other techs who would then benefit? He almost got Russell Clift AB7IF to come out and work with him, but Russell backed out at the last minute.

 

Have employees sign a non-compete agreement and an intellectual property non-disclosure agreement. That's how real companies do it

Having said that, it sounds like he's happy being a one-man operation and that's fine. I'm always happiest by myself on a job
