I had the same thought

 

I have eat me a boat load of Vienna's to curb a hunger pain on a all night flight. That pre sliced spam ain't bad either. My wife would send us care packages of em cross the pond. MRE's wasn't bad at all seriously but sometimes just wasn't enough of em. We always joked bout if it got bad nuff throwing Vienna cans at their head ta knock em out lol. They will cause a touch of indigestion though. Potted meat on Ritz crackers was a good fall back in younger times to.


But sardines no thanks. I just cant get past the thought. Livers no can do but can tear me some gizzards up if in they is fresh.

 

Spam was a delicacy at our house as Ma only bought bare essentials at the grocery store. Most of what we ate was grown on the farm or made from scratch in the kitchen

 

WHAT?!?!??

 

Well, Waffle House it is then, for breakfast anyway.

 

That would be funny if it weren't so true!

 

I’ve had many a potted meat and cracker dinner will go with that before Vienna’s any day.

 

Thought that was McDonalds!

 

What did the nurse look like?

 

Liver and onions with cream peas and potatoes is one of my favorites, it's how I knew Dad was coming home. Mom would make that and have it ready for him when he hit the door.
