Yeah man, PT school is tough, ALOT of science courses, I used to work as a PT aide and man they make ####, I started with $11 an hr and 1 year in I only made $13 an hr and you max out at $15. It's a ######## career unless you go to graduate school. The field itself was fun, but it gets boring over time, it's the same thing over and over again. It is rewarding when you see patients recover, some people lose limbs and legs and they fight their way through recovery. I got tired of the field very fast, there wasn't any excitement. Even if you have a undergrad degree in PT you still can't find jobs without knowing people, most PT clinics require at least 6 months to 1 year of experience, but how would we get experience if we can't even get hired? I wanted to work in the ER because it's more thrilling haha.

As far as OTR goes you choose how long you want to be away. I chose to be out 4-5 weeks at a time and would come home for 5 days my driver manager didnt sweat it.
I received the call to go local coming back my 3rd month. If you dont want to do any OTR i knew alot of guys who finished their training and went straight to local accounts all because they asked and bugged. -

Yeh man pricey but it was alright i guess. I have nothing negative to say about them. I learned ok backing and shifting while at roadmasters but everything else came on the job.
