My inexperience is no reason for him to think that.

....first hand experience goes a long way I think. I have none with auxiliary’s.

He must shift that on the move, but I'm not sure how it would work.

    I ain’t commenting on you.

I’m saying @Oxbow is a good explainer. Clear, leaves out the parts that ain’t important, makes the point and gives the details needed.

Me either, he’ll have to tell us. He might even have a 4 speed I can’t remember or tell by that picture. There’s this setup too, this is I believe @haulhand s truck, if I remember correctly you don’t actually move the lever. 850BC38B-0C79-4461-82D3-276B2EF4C55E.jpeg

Drove a International for R&L with what I called an oddball 13, I can't remember the number to save my life. Setup like a 15 or 8LL in a sense. Chrome shifter was marked Low-Intermediate-High. Start in low and shift the first 3, split from low to Intermediate and back to 1 (low hole position on a 9 spd) then shift all 5, split from Intermediate to High and shift 5 again. Could actually start from 1 in Intermediate on flat ground.

And it was setup with an air operated clutch brake, for those here that remember them.
