Who cares? That carrier does. Why is it OK for you to violate the FMCSA HOS rules them move on leaving your mess! So it's all about you now?

If you unplug it, it will show unassigned driving. It still records the truck was driving even though it’s unplugged and you will get a violation unless you assign the driving to you. You are falsifying the log. I’m not sure if you pick your own loads but you’ll have to figure out how to better manage your time. If you’re pulling for someone, they may not catch it for awhile until they do a quarterly audit of their logs and see you have a lot of unassigned driving. They won’t be happy when they see it. You’re playing games with their safety rating.

He the same driver that speeds thru construction zones doing 70 in a 55 and yells at everybody on the cb telling em to get tf out of the way , or the guy that grabs 16 gears pulling out of his parking place in the truck stop , these the type of guys that would make this type of thread

I have a couple of thoughts about your comment. A disclaimer is needed though. I am not well physically and might be headed soon to the Epilepsy monitoring clinic at the VCU hospital. I am also almost confined to bed because of my back and SI joints. This makes me a bit mean.

My first comment is I don't get too worried about serial trollish behavior, this is part of the staff's duties and they do a good job of keeping the boards clean.

Next, I see these threads as an opportunity to at least get some truth out there. There are about 10 people that comment in these boards that know the world of trucking forward and backward. We might differ on small things, but for the big stuff, I think we are all in the same step. Most people that have any time on the internet knows the basic rule when it comes to serial trollish behavior. If you don't know it, well I am sure at some point a staff member will give you a lesson!

Learn to Play by the rules. Who the heck wants to drive more than 11 hours a day or be on duty more than 14.

We are AG exempt but I don’t want to use it. I am toast most of the time after a 11 Hour day

    bryan21384 and Tb0n3 Thank this.

I do play by the rules almost all the time. However nothing and I mean nothing gets in the way of my home time, not hos or my company or anything else.

If you had half a brain you would realize hometime starts when you get home.
