What tips do you have to help keep yourself regular with bowel movements?

I've never had issues till I started driving. Seems I'll go every 3-4 days . Scares me

I go every day sometimes twice. Sounds like you regularly go every 3 or 4 days

Ha!! Or over-regular. After a few of those you’ll be praying to the porcelain gods to go back on a 3-4 day doody vacation.

Jamie lee Curtis recommends eating Activia. I just drink plenty of truck stop coffee.

Take a dose of Metamucil everyday.
It's not laxative, but it helps keep things "moving".

Think about it.. you're sitting a LOT more than you ever have before.
    Your guts are knotted up.
Walking helps a ton. Normal life has walking involved. We sit a bunch.

Eat fiber loaded meals.. a dose of Metamucil.. Take a lap or 2 around the truck stop.. carry extra Fruit of the Looms.

I ate at the Petro in Dupont, PA two nights ago. Make sure you get a meal that includes soup and salad. That food in the Petro works fast. Eating Denny's will do it too.

You go to Walmart and get some healthy snacks. Stuff with a lot of fiber will regulate you. Get some raisins, eat green raw vegetables, maybe get some bran of some sorts. If you have a fridge in your truck get some yogurt(Activia)

I wouldn’t necessarily let it scare you just yet. How long ago did you start driving? Your body might just be getting used to it. Especially if you’re flipping your schedule from days to nights. That kind of throws your whole body rhythm out of whack. I will say this though and I don’t want to get too graphic. When I was out a week at a time I was like that too. My body was always waiting for “home field advantage”. I can’t tell you how many times I came screaming into my parking spot, shuffle-duck walk/ran up the driveway, and fumbled with unlocking the door whilst undoing my belt. And all weekend let’s just say when Mother Nature called, there was no answering machine. It was catch up time.
