Maybe rather than acting like a dilettante, you should work on your comprehension. I was stating that a step deck has more versatility than a flat. Of course hauling containers isnt lucrative, but I'd rather have the option rather than not have the ability. If you aren't here to help, then go piss in your own cereal.

I had steps with container locks(came with it). They also had ramp. I used the locks exactly once in 4 years. I used the ramp less than 6 times. I traded them both for flats. You can get a load for a flat twice as fast and I can get with in a nickel per mile quite often paying better.

Every other tom, dick, and harry doesn't have ramps. I've seen maybe a dozen trucks with them in the last 6 months. There are tons of people that will pull a max weight load out of miami for 60cpm. That doesn't mean I'm going to. I appreciate the opinion you are sharing, but your business plan isnt my business plan. And your experiences aren't everyone's experiences. I know several people personally that pull steps and use their ramps anywhere from 1x a month to 1x a week.
D.Tibbitt and Rubber duck kw Thank this. -
I’m not wanting to be a dick. I’m just pointing out my experience with the equipment you want. You said yourself it should work in theory. I’m telling you that in practice it’s a waste of money. You can get sore about it, but in time you’ll come to the same conclusion
