Would you roll with a headlight out?

Right headlight went out. If the shipper was 10 to 20 miles away down the interstate, I would have rolled and dealt with it tomorrow. I don't feel comfortable driving two hours on a two-lane state highway with a headlight out, even if it isn't the left side. Shipper is 24/5 but nobody is answering to find out if they might be working tomorrow (typical).

"Why didn't you change it?" The lights in the light bulb kit the terminal gave me were the wrong ones. None of the three truck stops at this exit have one. Love's had one, almost the same part number but it's a 65W bulb and the original is 60W so I don't know if the ECM can detect the difference and refuse to turn it on. Fuses look good. Don't even get me started on how hard it is to change a headlight in a Kenworth. 1800 mile load. @#$&

Run for the night , fix it in the daylight.
Just be sure to note it on your inspection report in case you get stopped.

Run it. Billy Big Rigger behind you with the 8 fog lights and LED light bar with the bumper hanging on bungees will cover your path

My week from hell last week that never ended. Hooked up in the yard and running late. Headlight out. Led. Catch the company garage at the Bewitching hour of 5 minutes to 5.

Headlight harness was bad. They built all our gliders so we’re familiar with the harnes problem.

Being I am very mechanical and try to take care the problems on my own I am glad I didn’t head down the road thinking I can fix this at the next Pilot.

I'd run it and learn which is the proper bulb to carry so in future you can quickly change it out yourself. Just did one myself last Thursday actually.

These days I avoid running with a light out. Don’t need the hassle. Given you’re circumstances, I’d run with it,not gonna let much interfere with revenue.
