I have a slightly different approach. You've read enough of my thoughts to know that if there's ONE thing in this world that I'm not afraid of, it's looking like I'm stupid. As long as I can make somebody laugh or smile ( even if it's only me. ), I'm going for broke.

I'm so old now that I really don't give a f if some gal doesn't care for me. When I was younger I wouldn't feel any pressure talking to the one's I didn't really want or one's who were " supposed to say No " because they were already spoken for.

I'm so old now that virtually all of the attractive gals fall into the category of " supposed to say No. " because of any one of a variety of reasons.
No pressure means bada boom bada Bing !

It may come as a surprise to y'all, but I have been known to talk some smack on occasion.

"But Moose ? You are such a quiet person. It's really hard imagining you telling jokes and cuttin' up."

I know. But you might be surprised at times.

@Ruthless, I notice often how you refer to your GIRLS. They are beautiful, but you know that. I would want my girls to be strong and competent. And I would always worry about them. They are my responsibility. They would know allllllll the basics...from auto mechanics to hand to hand combat.

My son would have to become his own Man or die. He has to get his own house and his own life because any wife and any children sired by him would take on HIS name, not mine. This, he would have to go.

965km a day over 5.25 days. Pretty much all driving hours except for the three unloads and four pickups. And never more than a day's drive from home base.

 

I don't have even a rough idea how to acquire the knowledge base to make something like that work. I know that knowledge is a lot more widespread than it used to be, however I don't know where to get it. The local Tech Community College doesn't even have a course in Automotive Mechanics, much less have cutting edge courses available. Even if it's not considered cutting edge anymore, they don't have anything even close to the subject matter. I don't care about gaining a degree in it as much as I would like to have a decent grasp of the knowledge.
Do you know of a website or something where that knowledge can be studied ?
