Why do you live in Maine?
Are you a Christmas tree farmer?Tb0n3, motocross25 and Chinatown Thank this. -
Maine = high cost of living and low pay from what I heard from someone who lives and drives for a Maine trucking company.

Are you asking because you're bored or because you are contemplating moving?

The only things coming out of Maine to the Nation seems to be that bottled Water. They get everything else and pretty rarely at that.
I am familiar with Maine from History etc. All over it. HOWEVER. In my lifetime Ive only been to Maine with a load three times and to pickup a load twice. That's the grand total of my trips up there.
Come out of there if you expect to be in trucking. You're in a pretty remote corner of the Country.Zonno and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
I used to go to Hannaford bros at least once a week, coming out of NJ. Every once in awhile I'd p/u that water your talking about, into Hunts Pt. Funny thing, made the same money doing a 3-5 stop NYC. Way back when I pulled a skateboard I would run up to James river paper co.,Berlin NH,then cross over to Me and get a load of northern white pine going deep South. That paid real well, but tarping was rough, all uneven lengths. Then either plywood or southern yellow going back to NYC.Made for a nice round.
