Don't go to Phoenix.
It has traffic. It has pollution. It has people. Lots of people.
Just saying.
Non-paid for advertisement for Tucson. If they wanted to pay me though...I'd take it.
Less traffic. Less pollution. Less People. It's also got a nice mountain. With trees. So if you get homesick, you can go bond or whatever nature folk from Maine do. DON"T HUG THE CACTUS. Their kind of pricks...ha!
I'm sure Dave or some other person will come along who has been brainwashed an given the Phoenix Kool-Aid. Ignore their attempts to lure you there. They get a bounty for every NE Yankee they manage to get there. It's like a weird cult thing. Think children of the corn, but in a desert, with no corn fields. So nothing like that but still...
Or you could just ignore me, an move somewhere in Arizona an be far happier. Unless you like lots of trees. I then suggest you choose wisely. Not like the whole state is covered in them, unlike those greedy tree hogging people in the NW and NE.
I say...if you like it where you live..find someone that hires nationwide. Might have to get yourself home for hometime on your own dime. If you don't care about where you live really, or want a change...find somewhere you think is interesting, research it, then visit if able.
Good luck deciding. It is a tough choice.
*This post is filled with sarcasm. Phoenix isn't really a cult, an it's a decent city. I just like to pick on Phoenix.
Sirscrapntruckalot - Sand. It gets in everything. EVERYTHING!
dwells40, homeskillet, Bakerman and 2 others Thank this. -
Pretty much currently the only reason I go home is family and to play on my computer. If I could get into a company with all the workings ie Apu, fridge and etc I would be tempted to stay out longer if pay was good. Wil-trans looks like they offer that but my recruiter is stuck on me needing 18 months experience while on the Facebook page I'm getting told 12 months

And someone chasing you with a bunch of honey do lists.
Phoenix has one other weather issue most are not familiar with. Haboobs or literally dust storms. Frontal line of thunderstorms show up west of there, rages and then falls apart. The gust outflow raises the earth into the sky and turns everything black while the sand gets into everything, including you. Might as well settle, it will be a while before that clears out.
You might be happier in the likes of say Idaho. The northern part in the forestry. -
Check if Frock Bros. Trucking hires in Maine.

Wil-Trans runs east coast states.
Check Craigslist if you want coast to coast.
