I've showed up 30 minutes early and had to wait 4 hours to be unloaded. #### Wal Mart.

You know, if Wal Mart would just get off their high horse nit pick rules, regulations, 63 mph trucks, 2 day wait times at DC's & try to work with drivers to make the job as enjoyable as the job I have now.... they could pay their 8,000 drivers $70,000 a year & save about 21 - 22% of their driver payroll. They wouldn't have to hire 900 drivers every six months & they'd have good experienced drivers they dont have to worry about. They'd be happy & the drivers would be happy.

When you're paying $90,000 a yr & good experienced drivers wont come work for you, its time to review your driver policies.

Well. I’ve been hearing how the industry is now overran with swamp rat drivers and carriers need to improve both their pay AND their hiring standards as well as ongoing employee standards to enhance safety. Seems that’s what they’re trying to do. Can’t win for losing with some of you people. Pick a position and stick with it.

The Walmart drivers I have talked to over the years seemed pretty happy.
And I doubt they wait hours to unload. I bet that company truck and trailer gets turned pretty #### quick.

    Coover Thanks this.

The nerve of Walmart wanting to pay drivers $75+ per year AND not tolerate drivers who like to watch movies and send texts 2 hours each day while driving AND allow drivers some kind of home life. That’s ridiculous. They should do and tolerate all.

    thaistick and Coover Thank this.
