I have 3 years of verifiable work history, clean driving record. I have applied to many trucking companies that offer cdl classes, yet all have turned me down because my employment history is part time and they want full time employment history. Does anyone know of a company that offers cdl training and accepts part time verifiable employment history?
Employment history needed to get a job? They don't like part time.

You're going to need to document up to the last 10 years of employment or back to leaving high school. You can write a statement explaining gaps in employment and you should include a name and contact info for people who can confirm it.
Use the internet to research the names and dates of your part-time jobs. They are looking for gaps 30 days or longer where you might have been in jail or addicted to drugs/crime. Some companies just need something in your file documenting the time. It's a federal requirementx1Heavy, rabbiporkchop and Edvi713 Thank this. -
