He said he was following his gps. This is a single lane gravel county road and he thought it was ok. His company just bought a bridge.

GPS or not, one look at that rickety bridge should've been enough to signal the "NOPE" signal in one's head. It's almost like the driver was pretty much charging towards it like they were driving an M1 tank!!
I think at this point, "Following my gps", along with "I didn't see them" should be phrases that warrant an automatic trip to "the wall". Blindfolds optional.Canadianhauler21, misterG, allniter and 10 others Thank this. -
Heck, there are some 4 wheelers that are too heavy for that bridge....
I understand it being dark and all, but still.... Hopefully this makes him unhirable as he has no business behind the wheel of a semi. -

The recovery bill is probably going to be more than any value they can reasonably assign to that bridge.
I like these types of drivers. They make me look good and extremely valuable.Woodys, misterG, Anonymousproxy and 24 others Thank this. -
It’s obvious he either was using Google Maps, a car GPS, or a truck GPS in car mode. But it’s also obvious he missed a turn. The stupidest car GPS wouldn’t route that way given the other options that were available.
Some load of poultry didn’t get picked up in Russellville. Dum azzss. But at least it occurred near his lake that was named after himLast edited: Jan 31, 2019
