Nowhere does chili have macaroni noodles. Nowhere. Beefaroni with beans is not chili. You Indiana folk are silly, bless your hearts.

Well the wife and I use elbow noodles to thicken up our chilli as well. Sometimes we use rice.

Jesus. When you add rice it's ricearoni. The San Francisco treat. What the hell is wrong with you guys. If you want to thicken Chili you add more meat. Even sausage if your feeling froggy. Not pasta. What?!
I'm certainly not the food police. Anything usually goes with me. It even sounds kind of tasty. I just firmly believe when pasta or rice enters the equation we can no longer in good faith call it chili if we are being honest with ourselves.

    Tucker, you need to move.
Aside from the macaroni, it looks awesome.
We had a thing in Iowa called chili mac. Kinda looks like that

I will volunteer to move three stalls down while you work out that concoction in the toilet. I lost count of the times I hear fellow truckers having an orgasm of intestinal pain as they passed a "wonderful meal".

Start with onions, garlic and chilies. Slow cook. After 5 or 6 hours, brown meat, add to chili, add spices, slow cook for another 5 or 6 hours.

You can add a small amount of tomato if you like.

If you want beans, cook them separately. Serve on the side.

Heat is not the goal, smooth full flavor with a bit of attitude.

My sister used to make stuff like that. She called it goulash.
