This doesn't even make sense! When you hit top rate, you maken THE ABSOLUTE same as everyone else on top rate. No exceptions!

When I first got hired back in 2015, top rate was around $35 an hour. I'm about to hit top rate next week and I will be at over $37 an hour along with EVERYONE else that is top rate. I will also get all the cost of living adjustments every year just like everyone else.
    UPSF is no different.

Who ever told you otherwise was lying to you.

Im talking about the freight contract, which is who I worked for.

You guys at small pack/feeder have your own deal going on. Your contract is better since you have more clout.

The top rate for freight remained the same yet allows for drivers at top rate to keep moving into higher rates for the length of the contract with pay increases. However, for a guy just starting out, the most he'll ever hit is the $28 and change per hour, because then a new contract will be due and who knows how the pay situation will be then. The company could very well freeze the pay, which would then mean you'll have guys at the terminal making $30+ an hour, while there will he guys making $28 something for the same exact job. Hence, the two tier system.

I'll have you know I worked at frieght for 8 months! Lol. That was long enough to see how the show ran. And the contract was an eye opener for me. I got to see how things really worked.

Im talking about the freight guys.

You feeder guys are just steering wheel holders with a lot better pay. Theres a reason why theres some, ahem, hefty shall we say, feeder guys walking around the yard lol.

That makes no sense. When you go top rate....freight or parcel, you go to what the top rate is currently like everyone else.
People lied to you to get you to quit. And those same people still work there laughing at you. You got hosed.

I dunno. Sounds youre one of the guys that just voted yes without reading it. The $42 stood out to you, and you said where do I sign. Or maybe you didnt bother voting at all which screwed your brothers that voted no, but the union pushed it theough anyways since not enough total workforce voted.

I talked to a guy at UPSF 3 years ago, so it might be different now, top rate was 28 but for UPS it was 36 and change. Different companies. Different contracts.

I went to my union meetings buddy. I didn't hear from someone like you. Good luck. I see why you were fed wrong info and tricked by your coworkers to quit!
