    Sorry to hear that!
That is just ridicules and just for my understanding you cannot now go beyond the "DDM" to speak with a higher authority?

Brace yourselves for some epic favoritism if that’s the case.

These issues cant be because of the Knight take over can they? Did they bring in new shop supervisors?

I slap myself at times to see if it’s just a dream. But, everyone up the ladder tells us everything is looking good. I just had another ex-trainee quit yesterday. But hey, it’s looking good.

Lol.... maybe for some folks. I have an issue I go straight to the top. But, I will say this, my life here is good. The last time I went to the top was about 4 years ago. Now, it doesn’t mean I don’t see and hear what’s happening, I do, and I don’t like it.

Same shop personnel. The issues we are experiencing are self induced, they’ve been going on long before March 16th 2018.

Look at the big picture. Who the hell would want to do this job? It’s not just Abilene. Walmart has a big hiring deal going on, even with their good driving job they can’t hire enough drivers. Every company out here has the same issues. Up until today, this career I chose has been very good to me. I’m at the end of this, if I had to do it all over again, or get into it now with all this BS, I wouldn’t.

I hear that John. I'm getting near the end too and was hoping to stay with my company til that end. But after we moved from Kommiefornia to Nevada it has gone downhill fast. The office doesn't seem to know I exist up here. Moved into our home on December 1st and they are still sending my mail to a previous address. I have to fax in my load bills and every week I add a cover sheet asking them to please update my address. I just got my W2 forms that they mailed on Jan 10th.

And our health insurance went South too. The Januvia diabetes meds we were paying $40.00 a month for is now $504.00 a month. Went from an HMO to a PPO. I am spending today on line trying to find every type 2 diabetes med known to man and see if I can get it for less.

I will also be looking for a new company. Not looking forward to going back out OTR but I may have to.

I’m home. Got here Wednesday evening, about 8pm, my wife had a nice birthday dinner waiting for me. In case I didn’t know, she had a nice cake reminding me I turned 63. I also got to enjoy my 20th wedding anniversary with my wife the next day.

We usually go on vacation for 10 days over this time but not this year. The Realtor I’m married to was real busy over the holidays and has $5 million dollars worth of properties closing now. So, our Australia/New Zealand cruise had to be cancelled. We are going to Italy for 3 weeks in April. Believe me, I could give a rats a.z.z. about freight, company issues, politics or anything else associated with these green trucks while I’m gone.

Don't some of the muckity mucks at Abilene follow this thread? With the chaos as of late, I would think that someone would open their eyes, at least for a few moments in time.
