Hello Gentleman, first post and new to TTR. Was wanting to make a change from hauling OTR to local and haven seen that Sheetz is hiring in the Greensboro area. Read over some older threads in here related to Sheetz, but was hoping to pm with a current sheetz driver about requirements and usual schedules/hours. Thank Mark
Any CLI/Sheetz drivers active on TTR?

Is Sheetz the only one you're interested in?
-
I’m interested in that too. They are frequently hiring in the Durham terminal too...
I applied once but was refused because I didn’t currently have a TWIC... I do now. I was really just fishing for answers to some questions but can’t find a phone number to call someone.... -

I've only done OTR tanker work, but do know there's plenty of local jobs for drivers with tanker/hazmat endorsement.
Best advice is to compare pay and benefits with some of the tanker outfits that have local work.
There's also Estes Express and Holland that have line haul jobs and union benefits.
Here's some more tanker outfits to check in that area:
Waccamaw Transport Company, Inc. - Greensboro, NC >$60,000 - $75,000 a year.
Speedway - click here for information > Apply On Company Site
The Linde Group > click here for info > Apply On Company Site
Eagle Transport - for questions click here for info > Apply On Company Site

I drive for them out of the main terminal in pa. Basic requirments are 2 years and 130 thousand verifiable miles experiance. Usually 10 to11 hr shifts. I dont know about other terminals but we have different schedules, 4 on 3 off, 6 on 3 off 6 on 6 off, and others. Any questions about other terminals I can probably get answers for.
M9Blanchert Thanks this. -
Benefits?
Company atmosphere?
Typical work day?
Thanks -
IIRC, you go to PA for training for at least a week, then a trainer? Do you have "split" shifts (work say 5hrs, then off 3hr, then on 5hrs, in a day) up there or all of them 10 to 11hr shifts? How's the seasonal effect at Sheetz, are your days/hrs fairly consistent? I've seen the pay mentioned in other threads, so would imagine they must be close or you would have said something in those threads?
Thanks, Mark -
M9Blanchert Thanks this.
