How is this for math. If you are a typical job hopping crap cdl holder that can't get a better job than some bottom feeding training mega carrier you will always earn crap mega carrier wages. If you are a good driver with a good work ethic and the employment history to prove it you will get a job at a good company earning wages that rival the best paying driving jobs in the industry.

Just admit it. You couldn’t hack because you’re afraid. You can get hurt doing any of it. But if everyone had your attitude nothing would get done. I see way more vans in the ditch. I guess none of them got hurt? This job is perfectly safe if you pay attention to the world around you. I’m no cheerleader, but you just hating on something you can’t do.

Yeah, yeah 4 years, 400,000 + miles, 48 states (in a flatbed truck), no accidents, etc., etc., of not being able to hack it. Slavish attude like yours is the reason why pay is nowhere where it should be. Why pay more if guys just like you are standing in line to serve the public and bosses for less? Somebody has to do it, right? Better you than me. I did my time and wised up.

My money is on western express or crst. Possibly a melton or tmc. Big starter company kind of jobs. or maybe some fly by night small company. And probably a minimum of 3 different jobs in that 4 years.
