I was trying to make a simple analogy of the danger of tired car drivers and tired truck drivers. They're both dangerous, but you don't hear about cars killing 17 people like in Humboldt.

That simple analogy is comparing apples and marbles, unless you're not used to driving a truck.
This accident by Humboldt you're referring to, was that in Lethbridge Alberta area, from what I heard from brother in law the driver blew a stop sign in front of a bus, didn't really have much to do with sleep or hos.

The point is the amount of damage a car accident can cause vs a truck accident.

I like that idea, I can drive 16 hours a day without hurting somebody or running into ####, so why don't you?
