I got very sick on Monday and went to the hospital. I think they said I got the Nurvell virus? I don't know.
Well Wednesday thought I would try to go back to work, and delivered a load here in Baltimore and got reloaded for Richmond, almost home.

I haven't felt the need to eat anything all week, and now it is midnight Friday and I had a small turkey sandwich.

Well here I sit with bad stomach cramps and I'm stuck in Baltimore.

Just wanted to pass some time on here with everyone for a little entertainment.

Find a pharmacy or Wal-Mart and get some Pedialyte for kids. It will replace the electrolytes you've lost and it's easy on the stomach . If you haven't been eating you should at least stay hydrated.

Did some quick poking around on the 'net and here's what I found:

You may have the Norovirus. It's a food borne illness like the stomach flu. I once had gastroenteritis. And it came from food. A friend who worked in the medical field suggested I drink soda pop to fix my problem, and it did.

The acidic content of the soda knocked the virus out like a champ. Perhaps this is your fix, too.

Mix it with some seltzer water or something all that corn syrup probably won't make you feel better.

ginger ale is way better than any dark cola, my doctor(s) have always told me.

    Norovirus | Home | CDC

when ever i buy a bag of fruits, like apples, oranges, i wash each one under HOT water before i eat it. i also try to stay away from the ketchup, mustard and relish bottles at the truck stop diner. as we all know, there are very dirty people out there, that use a bathroom, and NEVER wash their hands, and here they are, handling things at the table/counter, and that spreads any diseases...

Same here. Sprite was always high on the recommendation list also. Clear sodas like that settle the stomach, and the carbonation they have that makes you burp will help relieve also. I’d always do that with like saltine crackers. Good news is since you do feel so bad, once you get better, you’ll feel like a million bucks. Hang in there
