They will work you like an immigrant farm worker and probably pay you less. If I was you I would try to go a different route.

With incentive pay I make around 36$/hr. The farm worker thing may be correct but the money thing isn't. Very easy to make 100000 a year here if you want to.

Apologies I was just guessing about the money. Lots of way better jobs out there but hey if you're happy with it more power to you I'm glad you feel you're getting paid fairly for slavery, I mean the work that you do. I just know people who work for food services of America and also a couple friends that work for Charlie's produce and they're nowhere near close to $36 an hour , I think some of them are around 16 to $18 an hour

May be a slight bit of a difference between Charlie's Produce and Sysco I'm guessing Also we are Teamsters. If your friends are driving a truck for $16 an hour they either live in the sticks or are not too bright.

Are you sure you're a truck driver? Kind of sound like a company recruiter? Lmfao

Or they have multiple felonies and accidents.

He’s not wrong about the pay. If I was working 70 hours a week at US Foods I’d be making over 115k.

If I could find another job making what I do and have the benefits I do while only working four days a week I would be there in a second. Is food service hard work yes, are you micromanaged yes but when it comes down to it I have a daytime gig that's no weekends that I get to sleep in my own bed every night and made 75k last year only working 4 days a week.

i'll admit that this is one BIG advantage (and there really are no advantages) to food service.

When i did food and beverage, at least it was during the day. Very rarely did we work overnights.
