Help! Cummins N14 knocks at idle but not under Insite cut out test

    SOLVED! new ECM didnt help, truck was still knocking at idle, previous owner bypassed ECM cooler plate, fuel check valve was plugged, changed it and reconnected fuel lines to the plate, engine runs smooth since

    Glad to hear. For future Reference I’m pretty sure there’s a way to use Insite to show the fuel flow on each injector

    My new to me 97 international has a small knock on the rear cylinder I have yet to investigate. Any pics of cooler plate?

    Just bought cooler plate on ebay, found it for $50, N14 cooler plates look same like M11 but differ with location of mounting screw holes,
    Cummins N14 part # for ECM cooler plate is 3062625
    Usually they are not a problem but a fuel check valve that mounts on them plugs with debris and truck can lack power or misfire
