NASTC also fluctuates. The only days that stay the same in a particular week are Saturday, Sunday, Monday. However, those three days may change from week to week. Once Saturday price is determined, that will be the price until Monday. For the other days, fuel prices sometimes do not change at all, but usually do change by a few cents or a fraction of one cent.
What's a better fuel card EFS or NASTC?

And our discount is in this spread.csmith1281, TallJoe and PE_T Thank this. -
The easiest way to think of it is that retail is market price, and the NASTC price is cost-plus. Nastc varies with cost and has no relation to retail price.

Is NASTC card now good at pilot and flyingJ? Looked today after I received my card and looks like up to 25 cents off.

NASTC has TA/Petro, AMBEST, Roady’s, Speedway, Sapp Bros, and lots of other small chain truck stops and independents. I usually shop where fuel is cheapest, so TA/Petro is about 1/3 of my fuel stops. Sometimes I pay a few cents higher for fueling at TA/Petro because I want one of their shower. I wish they had a shower-a-day program. It’s gonna take them 2-4 years before they finally catch up to Love’s and Pilot/FJ on their shower program. -
