I must have been one of the 60% today then—got the arrow to pull up on the platform with an empty wagon in Sneads today.

The scale on I-10 in Lee has theirs set at 100% I think... I don't think I've EVER ran the bypass lane there.

I've yet to be pulled in empty, and I have gotten the bypass at the mid 70s gross. Go figgure. I never cross Sneads or Lee. Everyone else in Fla though.

I cant complain about Florida. 86,000 will cost ya $300-ish, and they will let you continue on down the road.

I guess I'm different than most. I don't mind getting inspected. Whether it be my log book or a full blown. The way I see it is that I have been running CMV out of Ohio pretty much all my life and the "aggresive" enforcements seem normal to me. I take great pride in my truck and business and if the inspector finds a defect in it...I take it personally, yeah the fine or out of service will hurt, but my pride will hurt worse.

All vehicles do need to be inspected, but we all know that this will not happen nation wide. I remember years back the state (Ohio) tried doing localized inspections of cars and pickups. The failure rate was very high and the public was very upset. But not at the high number of failures, just the fact that the vehicles were inspected in the first place.

I personally dont have a problem with an inspection, but when they pull me over for some BS reason and then start to scour to find something wrong that pi#### me off, if there is something obvious no problem,I try to stay up on maintenance,Just another state money grab in my books, if they would make the general public keep their cars up to our standards people would be outraged.

You mean hold people to equal standards? Like holding the politicians accountable to their promises? Surely you jest..
