help with insurance

    does anyone know of any cheaper insurance company's than progressive for new jersey auto hauling they want 34,000 dollars a year which i think is nuts could anyone help by the way i am a new business

    I don't know if they offer it down there but up here in Alaska one of the local credit unions has an insurance service we're a bunch of little guys get together in a coop it's way cheaper.
    You might want to call some of the credit unions down there and see if it's available.

    Are you a new trucking business because if so you are going to have two to deal with Berkshire Hathaway and Progressive. They are the only two who will take the risk for a new trucking business. You might have to lease onto to someone to get some time built up. All the best to you.

    They just quoted me 33k for mine hauling reefer. When I told them I needed to shop around they put me on hold and came back with $29,210.00

    I Mil liability, 100k cargo, rental assistance and physical damage. My tractor is valued at 55k and I'm planning to rent a trailer..
