Pretty much is. Standard placement is right behind the landing gear. That far forward on the fulcrum puts the wgt on the drives

You have to consider spreads have a shallower pin,and if you have a long wheelbase you’re going to have to slide the fifth wheel a stupid amount to put weight on the steers.

Some of them Wisconsin boys get down right heavy with their cheese. Some run 3x10's on a reefer.

Well, until you’ve experienced loading tomatoes or watermelons. Trust me anything to the back helps. And like @Ruthless said a lot of these boys who do that run 50 gals on each side. That’s a produce and chicken wagon heavy loads but not much cube space. Single, double, single, single, double the rest of the way back.

Excavator broke in the middle of the lease road. All of us gas to back up a mile and turn around in the mud. Find a different way out? Not looking good? 2C78A49A-B993-47D8-81F7-EB62E97CB010.jpeg At least we are empty

If weight was such a concern why run two 50 gals in the first place?

The tank/bracket weight + fuel is 500lbs each?. With them mounted stock location you're maybe putting 300-400 of that on the drives, maybe.

I'll go back to driving my couch.
