I only have 2 options at the moment due to not bad circumstances. Just don't have a ten year job history. Paschall or usxpress. Just want to choose the lesser of 2 evils. I just want to get out there and get my experience and hopefully other doors will open for me later. Opinions?

History is not all that. You can say that you were a caregiver for a sick parent 10 years, but as long you possess a CDL coveted by the bone collecting er... recruiters you are in the door.

Having to choose between two companies? Ugh. A better question would be who pays the most and who has the freight lanes near your home? Or perhaps the equiptment and idle policies etc.

NEVER ever be pushed into just deciding between two, you have thousands out there.

I was a stay at home parent. Kids are grown now. I have been turned down by 8 companies so far for that reason.

That's usually a good thing. Believe it or not. Parenting is not compatible with trucking. Now that is not to say I never saw a kid, Ive seen a few with parents out there but they would be like 9 going on 30 language and all.

Breathe and relax. If it is trucking you want, you will get your fill of it. If you cannot decide flip a coin and get going. LOL.

You need to include Western Express and Covenant transport to achieve the Tennessee Super Trifecta.

When I was with WE, a driver from PTL approached me and urged me to stay away from Tennessee whiskey and go with Kentucky bourbon. Of course I didn't, but this encounter alone is enough to make me choose PTL.

The one that hires you, just because they say they will, they may not.

So apply, the first one that says yes ... go

I don't get where you claim you want the lesser of the two evils, in your cases there are none.

    Zoltan1a Thanks this.
