Hello, Fellow Truckers,
I have a 2018 volvo bought last year. Hit 117K miles on it.
Yesterday an ECU MAINTANACE light came on. Called Volvo Action center they said something connected to dpf sensor. Now I was wandering what is the factory warranty on aftertreatment issues. Do they cover it?Wanted to ask you guys first before i tricked into paying them.
Volvo 780 aftertreatment sensor.

How would this not be the number one thing discussed BEFORE purchasing a NEW truck?

That IS the question!

If your question is if I regret purchasing the truck? No. I did good last year, in fact I bought it the best season trucking business ever had! Now, I took advantage of their bumper to bumper coverage 120%, suspension, couple of air leaks etc. Have 500K engine and detailed componants covered. Thats the major part imo.

I love my 780. I had the same after treatment issue at the same mileage. It was covered under warranty. The def pump was the issueKB3MMX Thanks this.
