Yea I understand where your coming from. Hard to eat a target too but still fun to shoot it :D. I’m more of a long gun (bolt action preferably) than I am a pistol guy.

Been a long time now, I use to have a Sporterized Mauser 98 chambered in 30-06, dad had a Mauser Santa Fe (only 2 glands) in 30-06. We played and played till we found a good round for each. My Mauser liked IMR 4895 powder, his liked IMR 3031. 150 gr Nosler HP with 48 gr of 4895 was its sweet load. I sure miss it.

I think it’s time we pause and have a moment of silence for the people in the aviation industry that are missing in action. To @Bear135, @stwik, @catalinaflyer :

May your smart phone or wireless internet direct you back to the thread safely. Hollandaise pics are hollow, millennial jokes are not as funny, and watching videos of loading airplanes just seems depressing without you.

@wore out , I should have paid more attention when you mentioned 41/2" hoses. I knew that's what I needed, but didn't realize that they were getting harder to come by. Peterbilt handed me 4" and I never looked to see what I got. Fortunately the hose didn't blow and I had spare clamps.

Took the hoses back and ordered a couple of 4 1/2" for spares.

I guess the old mechanicals like to breathe a bit more than the new stuff?
