Faulty meter, or possibly a bad connection where the coax plugs into the radio.

Guess I’ll screw around with the coax and the Nightwatch after my shift tomorrow...

 

If both radios work ok, I’d use the plain 29 if it was me. I had a nightwatch one time that had a hum in the receive. One night I dimmed the lights and the hum died down.

Maybe it was just mine, I dunno.

What are you doin with two radios anyway? Find a smokin deal at a garage sale?

Well if'n a feller were so inclined I been looking for a rig. Prolly cant afford it but it's the thought that counts right?
