Seem to be having a mixed spring preview the next few days.

Rain and possible wintry mix overnight, temps mid 40’s to low 50’s for the day time, 10 less over night.

    We moved needless to say.

The cats know best on these things.

When I went to use the can this morning, it was just idling. I mean it's like 60.

Why by an APU when you can turn a new truck into a pos in no time.

    Opus and lovesthedrive Thank this.

I never could understand. A company pays $175k for a new truck but stops at buying the $7,000 APU. The downtime, breakdown and failure costs of DPF system components due to excessive idling will likely cost that in the first year. Idling is the absolute worst thing you can do to today's truck systems. At least get a Webasto type bunk heater system

It's even less for an EPU, and I have to say that we are very impressed with the unit on our 2019 KW. I'm sure you can come up with a scenario where it's going to be strained (a 34 in Phoenix in July, for sure), but idling a couple of hours to recharge during a 34 vs. idling continuously is not much of a brain teaser. In combination with a bunk heater, it's a great, low or no-maintenance option.
