Come April I will have been with Marten officially 3 years. However,I’ve been driving professionally for almost 4 1/2 years-all of it OTR. Now with Marten I’ve done some of their Walmart dedicated accounts playing helper, usually out of either Tomah,Wisconsin or Clarksville,Arkansas. Those are revenue making runs for me. Usually I’ll average 2500 to 3000 miles a week. Whenever I go up to Tomah the faces in the dispatch office light up like they just found Jesus!!ROTFLMMFAO
And that’s because they know I’ll run!!Last edited: Mar 8, 2019

Been thru those areas a few times. Usually I’m going to or coming from Laredo if they send me thru that neck of the woods. Gotta love those meat loads.lol
In this particular case I-70 and I-270(St. Louis bypass) to I-29 north to IA/NE Route 2 to I-80 west all the way.Upinsmoke Thanks this. -
Haven’t been to Wilsonville or Otay Mesa yet(those are the only two I’ve yet to see). I’m based in Carlisle,PA but dispatched out of Mondovi headquarters.Upinsmoke Thanks this.

Exactly why I like otr.
I'll hopefully be able to take my time off out west.
If I stay out 30 days will they cry if I ask for some days off.
Can I bank my home time? -
It wouldn’t hurt to ask. Sometimes it might depend on who your fleet manager is and/or where you’re dispatched out of. Where do you live?
