I tend to rant when I'm annoyed. Darling wife refers to it as "sarcastic turrets syndrome." I got stuck with the nickname after rolling down the highway hot in a fire truck on the way to a fire. Assistant chief came on the operations channel and told us a back compartment on the engine came open and we were losing gear, turn around and pick it up. Without realizing the Motorola was in scan mode I grabbed the mic and said "since we're in a fire truck and your in a station wagon behind us, why don't YOU go pick up the gear? What are you going to do if you get there first? Pee on it?" Then dispatch came over the air asking me to take my traffic to the operations channel.Turns out I broadcast that to every fire station, cop, ambulance and sheriffs deputy in the county. LT told me I need to quit ranting and the name Ranter stuck...

I've never picked one but I have had several given to me-
Texas Tornado - because I'm from Texas and I now have one of those awesome "left lane" trucks. This is a recent one.
Visa - this was from an overly friendly driver who decided I was "everywhere he wanted to be". I...uh...convinced him otherwise. He then proceeded to call me something entirely different for the next 20 miles. It was something......not nice.
RoadPuppy - Because I am too new to be a Road DOG.
Sabre Red - stemming from an incident at a rest area one night when an irate driver who had run me off the road a few miles back grabbed me by the throat to try to "explain" to me how it was all my fault. I didn't speak spanish that well so I ended up hosing him with pepper spray...brand name..Sabre Red...
Boca Grande - "Big Mouth"....drive like an idiot and I'll let you know about it...

My handle/nickname is Oneshot. I love to deerhunt and friends say if ole Oneshot gets a bead (gun/bow) on him we're having tenderloin for breakfast. Sometimes I'll go into the woods and not even take a weapon. just find a place to sit for an hour or two and just let the woods come alive and enjoy Gods creation. Lowers stress and the walking helps me stay in shape.

When I first started driving the guys I worked with gave me the handle of Double Trouble but after going OTR found a few Double troubles so shortend it to Double T. When I met my hubby after 4yrs of OTR found he had a theory that if it has tits and or tires it will give ya trouble.LOL So now Double T stands for tits and tires, but ya didn`t hear that from me, OK. LMAO. But I do deffinetly have tires covered.

I took my handle from the name of my first car. It was a black '57 Chevy 2dr with a 427 Keith Black motor, 6:71 blower and my friends (& cops) could never "catch the midnight rider". I decided to keep it as my CB handle when I got into truckin back in the late 70's. It kinda fit with my rebelious ways back then too. Now it reflects more on how I prefer to drive at night.

I think a person should have a handle they want myself.
Take mine for an example, TennesseeStud, I've been called that for most of my life
and I would have to say the Tennessee part of that handle is b/c I'm from Tennessee. The rest of my Handle, What can I say except, Use your imagination....
I'm gone for now Spongebob aka Wallbanger.
Adios me amigos and Senoritas.
