Their rates don’t dictate anything as far as the economy goes. A simple check of the spot market index rates can show you that. A lot of people shy away from trucks that manufacture their own engines. As far as California dictating rates think again, because of California all new trucks have DPF/DEF, California is the reason for many bad decisions are made when it comes to big rigs, summer time California outbound rates are high in turn making inbound rates a joke.
@snowman_w900 have you been given a price? Terms of purchase? Anything other then reserving a spot in line? Last I heard payments where going to be around 5k-8K per month. -
