Any help with this issue ,I have Volvo d13 2013 HP475 ,Engine hours 12100 mileage 427500 . Its RPM fluctuate whenever i restart it after one or two hour shutoff . It makes sound like some kind of pump running behind it during this process .it does it for 10 to 15 mins, mostly depends how cold is engine temperature . when temperature goes up to 130 F-140 F , RPM goes to normal . During this RPM fluctuation exhaust through steam or fog kind of smog. Any body can help what is causing this or it is normal ? Truck has new injectors , New def filter, SCR Catalyst , almost has new emission . Does this causing Engine coolant temp sensor or something else going in it ?

Your problem is different from the previous video. It’s not normal, you might have a faulty boost pressure sensor or it could be your turbo VGT having issues. You need Volvo software to see what sensors are reading and go from there

Thank you for the information.
Newto Trucking Thanks this. -

I have the same exact issue and my truck idles the same as the second video. Once it warms up it normalizes and truck runs perfectly fine.
I’m wondering what kind of repair aman0182 did to fix this problem? My boost pressure sensor in new and no fault codes are showing when I brought my truck to my repair shop to get diagnosed. Even my shop doesn’t know what to do.
Any experts or truckers who had fixed this kind of problem? Any help is much appreciated. -
