    Nope. Only way I knew injectors were bad was with a hard start or the flutter.

    Yeah I get a flutter when I hit 45-55 mph with a check fuel filter code dealership so said my cups and injectors was bad and that’s why I kept blowing my egr cooler they checked fuel lines fuel pump and fuel filter housing and said everything was good but idk I’m pretty sure this pos gone break down again smh

    My piece of crap is in the shop for a violent drive line vibrations. The carrier bearing is new, the shaft was sent off and balanced and the ride height is right on the money. Go down the road I have a violent shudder coming from the rear of the truck.

    Ughhh that sucks!!

    I bought a new $220k custom Peterbilt recently that did that violent driveline vibration with 100 miles on it brand new.

    What a pos it was!!!... Dealer chased driveline for almost two months before it ended up as a dealer buyback.

    So are you going to have the cups fixed?

    this is very simple, the injectors are not the failure they are the repair, what happens is that over time the injectors will get loose in the cup and in doing so there will be compression that goes in your fuel system this is not that hard to tell, simply you got stuck with the guy that wasn't that experienced and they were looking for there real common problems first, all they had to do is pull the injectors and they would see clear as day where the problem was. I usually trust my gut but every time i tell customers that first thing i will do is pull injectors and need to see how they are no matter what the computer test say, not right all the time but so far 95% have been right on the money. It's not to say that all the other things they replaced weren't bad, they probably could have pushed a small amount of time but they were coming up for replacement anyway just in the wrong order, most of the time when injectors go egr cooler being plugged is soon to follow being that all the smoke and the soot that comes out of the engine when the injectors are bad this is why you get the codes for NOX efficiency the dpf and def system is not able to keep up with the excessive soot level in the smoke. Hope this sheds some light on it for you.

    Question?I start the truck after few minutes the truck starts to shudder rpm goes up and down the truck starts shaking.Increase the Rpm with the pto switch the shacking goes away this happens until the truck stabilizes its self the shacking goes away.Today i notices when that happened, i slightly turned the power steering wheel and it was hard to move it.Can it be the fuel pump since they are connected with the power steering pump?I just dont want to throw parts in it.Also injector # is showing me -14 and the others are around 2,3,4 negative positive .

    Man that’s why I wish you was houston or Louisiana because I swear I would of drove my truck just so you can fix it but yeah everything you said is exactly what happened now i did the injectors and the cups and so far no more check engine light or no more egr codes and truck running good for now I’ll know for sure next week because my truck run for 2 weeks then break again but I don’t think so this time my mpg even in 6.8 -7.2 range when I’m loaded also no check fuel filter light after the 3rd day this time

    I did injector for a guy last week and he was skeptical i heard the truck turn over asked him what the fuel was he said he was at 5.2 i told him he needed injectors and he was wondering cuz i didn't gook it up on computer or anything, i removed injectors when i did i found one that was actually broke, replaced all he came back this week hes already at 6.7 and a different truck so now you should be good to go.
