    No you don't have to own it first.

    What if Landstar said you didn't qualify? Then what?

    You don't have to own.

    You DO need to have all your little ducks in a row though.

    When you get told to go take your drug screen, unless you're on drugs, you're going to qualify.

    It takes about 2 painful weeks to get the truck on the fleet as well.
