It has happened THREE times.
The 1st time was just a flicker, in broad daylight. It went black for a second.. then back to normal. No codes. Nothing. Head scratcher.
The 2nd time was about 2500 miles later, at 4am, pitch black on patchy ice.
It cut OFF. For 1-2 seconds. Powered back on. Cut back OFF. Powered back on. Then off, for what seemed like forever while I guessed where the shoulder of the road was. ( Thank God for rumble strips!) It powered back on as I coasted to a stop and never burped again.
I checked THOROUGHLY all connections and fuses. Nothing.
I conversed with my shop foreman... and he thinks I'm smoking Crack. (joke) He's bewildered.
It has done ZIP for 10-12k miles... til just a few minutes ago coming through West St Louis on i70.
It blacked out 2-3 times in 6-10 seconds as I eased it to the shoulder.
As soon as I get it to the shoulder, it's all lit up and ready to go.
SMFH !!
It goes BLACK. Not just the motor off. BLACK. Just as if the power kill switch has been flipped. I've wiggled and checked those connections multiple times. Nothing seems amiss there.
Has anyone had any experience with this at all ?

Did the 2013, a few times, the switch was bad and got replaced, but guess what, there is no shutoff next to the seat on the 2018 I'm driving now.

If so, I will make it a priority to get that done ASAP.
It's a tad unnerving to go blind on a crowded freeway in the dark.
Thanks for the reply. -

On a 14' Cascadia, we had similar issue. It started after hitting a large pothole at speed. Randomly after hitting any size bump, everything would cut out. This would happen every 1000-3000 miles. I found issue by luck after poking and pulling on anything I thought could be the issue. Small fuse box, about size of deck of cards on firewall in front of steering wheel was the problem. One of the 4 or 5 fuses in it would back out causing complete shut down. Dealership replaced and no more problems.
