I don't have much in the way of helpful info, but, I have a family member who has worked for Tyson for a few years now and he seems to be pretty happy with them. They seem to keep him busy and he makes it home about every 3 to 6 weeks.

    mje Thanks this.

I have never heard of a single negative thing about Tyson. I would take it as a good thing. There are a couple members who drive for them besides the one already mentioned.

So that means that their trucks are not fast unless that fast is as opposed to say a 60 mph truck.

they are a good company to work for. they have a few kw's, volvo's and are going to international's. most of the trucks are auto and have apu's. they run 70mph and are home every 6-10 days. you have to leave your truck at a tyson yard on hometime. the students i have talked to said 8 weeks. drivers get paid 39 practical. orientation is one week in springdale ar. any other questions i will be glad to answer if i can

I have known a few drivers over the years that pulled for Tyson. They seemed to like it in the 80's and early 90's but not so much later on.

I have no idea if they are good to work for or not. Don't really care. I wouldn't work for a company that makes it a policy to negate labor and immigration laws and hires illegal workers for its other operations.

Just my choice. Like I said, not sure if they are good or bad. Don't know and will never know.
