Chinatown, hook me up brother.
You always have ideas that I can't find elsewhere
Did a search on the forum. Didn't find anything specific.
We can skip Jim Palmer, and any of the megas.
Freymiller I have already contacted.
BTW, what is it with California? Seems companies are really reluctant to hire from here.
Companies that hire new CDL holders from Nor Cal.

Too bad you are too good to work for a mega. I would have a suggestion but you prefer to work for a mom and pop and they always pay more and have more miles right?

NorCal can be tough for finding good driving jobs. Companies don't have a lot of terminals up here, and not a lot of drivers can afford to live in the area. Keep an eye on Craigslist and Glassdoor for the few that become available.

There are a ton of companies out here that'll hire new CDL holders. I myself started out with a mega (Schneider) and got my experience with them driving regionally before transitioning to a local run with a different outfit. Since you have no interest in working for one of the megas, Leavitt Freight is hiring in the region. I believe they are a division of Central Oregon Trucking so you can expect to see a lot of CA as well as the PNW. Also, a lot of these job postings on Indeed/Craigslist will say that experience is preferred but that doesn't necessarily make it a prerequisite. If you have a solid work history and a clean MVR, HR managers will be more willing to work around your lack of experience. What part of NorCal are you from?
