Schneider is not working out at all. I was considering CTL but I've heard rumors that the company is going under. Also reached out to Superior but at this time they are not hiring drivers with less than a year experience. are there any other companies that I can consider for future employment (Atlanta/North Georgia area) ASAP? FYI I have every endorsement including hazmat and TWIC been driving since December of 2018. Thank you
Seriously need some suggestions for beginner tanker companies.

Who have you applied to already?

Personally I would apply to all the tank companies and see what they say. More than likely your going to collide on the weekend off. Maybe not, that turns into like 10 out 4 off. That should be doable.Last edited: Mar 18, 2019

It's coming up on paving season. I pulled tanks here in Ohio, with 6122 and 3257 (non HazMat) asphalt for many years, with weekends off. I'm not sure who the pavers are down by you, but the Yellow Pages might be of help. Made dang good money doing it, too. Only issue was having to pull flats during the winter, when the asphalt slows (and/or stops) here in Ohio.

How many months are you at? Are you near Chattanooga? Or closer to SC?

Google map it and type; Tanker companies. A bunch showed up near 85 and 285.
A&R Transport is dry bulk.
You probably need more time on that CDL until people hire you. But you know that.
The LTL thing, guys tell me.... They can make 60 to 100k up north doing it. Pick up and delivery P&L, pays like 50 to 65. Buts it's close to a 8 to 5 job. With some Saturday. Line haul pays 60 and up, but you work nights. . I don't know what ATL area would pay. An issue here is you typically have to bid on a schedule and it's done by seniority.Last edited: Mar 18, 2019
