But I've yet to talk to someone that's getting better than low 7's with this set up. Get a new Cascadia, your looking at 9ish. That's a lot of dinero.
Of course the Freightliner I live by has to be like the worst in the United States.
Truck 2 had starter go bad. Diagnosed, repaired under warranty by Fyda in Zanesville in 6 hours.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
So is the difference you are hearing about? Kinda like the folks that can get o.k. fuel economy with vacuum secondaries? Some get it and some just will never get it.
Every time I floor it I still have the mental bruises on my shoulder along with that voice from dad "Boy! keep it outa of that second spring unless you are going to be putting money on the dashboard for fuel."
If the fuel economy numbers are that much different you are looking at 200 to 300 gallons per month. Fuel savings with the Crapcadia could offset a significant portion of your payment (or quicken the ROI if you are doing cash).x1Heavy and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -

Definately get the Kenworth. Then you can donate Casper to me. I will be glad to assume ownership of Casper.
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
Ok ok. You cranked on my arm. I would buy casper if you got a new truck. Tho if your buying new, why not get a truck from Fitzgeralds and have a pre-egr truck that wont become a roman candle while you sleep?
