    I've drove a tandem axle wrecker for the last few years, if the cops call me out I get paid whether I hook up or get told to go home.

    Exploiting companies ain't part of the deal though. I get paid the same (if the cops call) regardless of whether I'm in and out in 15 minutes or 5 hours. I try to get as close to that 15 minutes as possible.

    Wrong. The police called The wreckers. The police were called by the homeowners. once the wreckers got out there they had a sales agent and his nice shiny brand new Ford raptor called the media and Department of Homeland security and during that time on the phone with Schneider taking pictures and exploring the hell out of the situation to make Schneider do whatever the hell they were recommending.

    @Count FurFur

    A little piece of unsolicited advice for you.

    Confucius say "when you find yourself in a hole, stop digging".

    You are not going to satisfy everyone with your answers. In fact, your answers breed more questions and the cycle continues.

    But when you from a small hick-town and you see a big trucking company with a hazmat load near a railroad track in a river you don't think they're not capable of doing some stupid crap to Max maximum profits? Schneider has already confirmed with me that that wrecker called the media and got the Department of Homeland security involved.

    The bottom line is this those Hicks and that small town trtied to take advantage of a big trucking company and in return they're going to be sued... those huge steel beams and rocks are going to get knocked the hell out of the way and the homeowners are going to have to pay big fines for their actions. The wrecker service will not get paid by TMI. think this is awesome Justice for me because It end up costing me my job with Schneider which I really didn't care about anyways because I didn't like working for them. It just sucks that I have a super speeder ticket on my record that is going to affect me driving for the next year-and-a-half. No one especially one company is going to keep me down. I'm not some innocent schoolboy but all of this was unnecessary and dramatic. maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't be in the trucking industry maybe Odin is telling me hey get the hell out. Hell I don't know. But all of this is ridiculous

    I can't speak for West Va, I'm in NC. We have a wrecker association that sets standards for fees and stuff when it comes to police calls. If we don't agree to these fees, we don't get on the list to be called by the police.

    I used to live in Georgia and was watching the news watching this law become into effect. it was designed to help fund the Trauma centers across the State. It is NOT a special ticket. When you get stopped with the speed over past a point once the ticket goes through the system and gets reported to the state they then will contact the driver for the super speeder part. Anybody that gets caught driving this way really needs to give some serious thought to slowing down. Or GET OUT of this business.

    I wasn't in the trucking industry when I got this ticket and the police officer was lying and we weren't allowed to use very accurate evidence to prove my innocence. I was actually doing 81 in a 70 still speeding but not super speeder. and if you get your driver report over 10 years it doesn't just say speeding it says super speeding and gives the exact speed of the issuing ticket. They go above and beyond to make you look like crap.
