Two plus years experience and a clean driving record is your ticket to go just about anywhere you want.

Expand your horizons and become a tanker yanker. There's some tank companies that pay up to sixty cpm.

And some tankers pay up to $300+ per load and have you home every night with 2 days off every week.

Go local. Don't worry bout dac. Get endorsements. HAZ only if needed.

I tried to PM you but not sure if it went through.

I average about $1600 per week on about 1900 miles (shakes out to .80 something CPM) in a brand new, ungoverned, specced out truck. Nice easy light loads. Automotive parts in a dry van. Requirements are 2 years exp and a respectable MVR, so you meet that. Check us out!

Yeah. I'd quit. If you're a safe driver you should be making $1300/wk minimum and home every weekend.. or close to it.

If your 2 years experience is all with Swift, that's your first mistake. You stayed with them too long. Those are slave wages. They make tons of money rolling over new drivers for crappy pay.

What do you get when a SWIFT truck leaves a truck stop? Three available parking spots.

Not that I know much about OTR companies, and not to contradict or step on @Chinatown 's toes because he is the Master.

But, why not drive for Walmart? You know the program, the DC's, the stores. Your just getting paid a lot less by working for the middle man. The way I hear it is that Walmart is offering a great pay and benefits package to stay ahead of the drivers shortage. Just my thoughts.
