I will freely admit that I am fairly ignorant about the differences between Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs and whatever else there is out there. The fact is I don’t care. I don’t imagine they care a whole lot about Albertans and Maritimers or Catholics and Protestants either. All I care about is that they don’t drive and park like idiots.

I helped a Canada Cartage driver get his Volvo charging again at the Sudbury Petro Pass a few years ago. He had no tools whatsoever so I used mine and I didn’t ask his religion first either. I wonder if they even offer the same courtesy amongst one another

Spot on, I don't really care what religion you follow, as long as you don't drive like a #######. Have you seen how drivers from QC drive? Astonishing....

you should take your rig for a spin down highway 40 south of Grande Prairie Alberta sometime...you'd swear everyone in a pickup, log truck, or fluid hauler subscribe to some kind of religion where meeting your maker is a desirable scenario.

Fortunately or unfortunately (pick one) usually the profession these people were taught, and earned a living at in their own country, is not recognized here. They will need to further their education here to work in their chosen profession. Trucking pays well and requires the least amount of formal education.
I have some very educated people here driving trucks. Doctors, pharmacists, teachers, university degrees and trades people.
Being very educated of course, does not make you smart.

So they often like to say. I've heard many a tale of woe..."I was an engineer in my country but I can't prove it so here I have to drive a taxi."

Then again, maybe that's why they display such a disdain for the trucking profession and want to do the worst job possible.

Exactly. It happens every day and they wonder why they can't stop. As the one Brampton driver told the judge "it happened in a blink of and eye. It could happen to anyone". Yeah right pal. Off to jail with you.

The driver is a #######. I also blame Ontario for this BS 105 speed limiter law. Of course that guy is from Brampton too ahaha

Never been up that ways, will keep that in mind it I'm ever up on that side. Bad drivers all over the place I tell ya. Had a Robert guy try passing me for 1KMH faster, I just slowed down and let him go. No idea how much of a difference it would of made for him anyway.
