ELD Safety Audit Upload

    I am currently doing my new entrant safety audit for the first time online and it is asking for me to upload my ELD records but via my ELD device. I'm not really sure how to do this.

    Best bet is to call the tech support number that came with your "unknown to us" ELD. They can talk you through it. And you'll know it got where it needed to go.

    The issue is I'm doing this for owner operators i currently dispatch for and they're on the road so I would not be able to do it personally.

    Doesn't your ELD provideo have a website you can access your fleet records from? You should be able to send it from there.

    Are you letting the O/O's use whatever ELD they want? You do know that you must have administrator rights for each one that they use? If not, you will discover the regs for that real soon.

    If he has authority and knows nothing about how to do this, I wonder how he is keeping required records of daily logs? This should be interesting.

    Maybe it's the same person who asked the other day and didn't like the response.

    Quite a few carriers are finding out the hard way about letting the O/O's use whatever ELD they want.
