Actually TN makes it simple, no fee for stickers, do it all on line. The new system is so much better than the old one. If you look at the screens when you log on it will tell you what items need attention, from there is all point and click and fill out the blanks.

BOC-3 is a list of Lawyers that will serve the papers to you, should a lawsuit be filed. If I remember correctly. UCR Unified Carrier regristration, Due April 1 this year due to a delay in ruling on cost. $64.00 this year. Usually due earlier, Jan ? I think. Either way it replaced Old Single State Regristration, SSR which was $220 per year. So it has gotten better. Ifta won’t notify you until it’s time to threaten you with being barred from participating in the program, which would essentially shut your operation down. Order decals ASAP usually oct or Nov. Usually have until Feb 1st to apply decal on Truck. Once got pulled into scale in Ga. headed home. Was told Ga must have on Truck Jan 1. Finally told Officer to give Me a ticket or whatever, I had to go now, daughter was in hospital. She let me go, just trying to harass Me IMO. She said it was my responsibility to know the laws in states I ran. I replied, I get info from my state.Dont like being hassled, I’m polite, but only to the point it’s returned. I’ve got just as much right to be out here as Swift, Werner or anyone else. Seems like some DOT think 1 truck operators should be put under.

Actually when George Washington and the gang fought for and won their independence they actually set up a government that could create laws.
You must have failed History in high school because you think this is suppose to be a lawless country.
Think about it, we have the Judicial, Executive and Legislative Branches of our government. Legislate means to make laws.

Iran and Somalia both don’t have very many laws. You could hop on a plane and be living the good life tomorrow in either place.

Matbe you missed the news lately.

They are so corrupt now there is no need to go anywhere. Were fixing to become Mexican Guatemala because of the lawlessness. Might as well stick around for a while and see how it turns out. Even though I have a good Idea.

I got caught with no IFTA stickers in August one year at the westbound Declo, ID scales. Had 'em... just forgot to put them on.

Whew! Every time I think about that gal, I want to rip the stickers off my truck and drive back through there.

I've heard the system is easier than it used to be but I got my authority last summer after the new one was up and running so I have nothing to compare to. It is ok IMO except for this one thing. Just to be clear, I know about the message screens, etc. and there is nothing anywhere that tells me my IFTA stickers needed to be ordered/updated. I've paid the quarterlies and figured if I needed a sticker it would be sent to me. Also, I have received no email/mail from them about it.

I'm learning and it's all good because it didn't cost me any money.

Anyone know if this violation will affect my CSA score? I'm right here about ready for my first insurance renewal. I forgot to ask them that on the phone yesterday.

You can check your score online.
If you haven't done so, get your pin setup with fmcsa ...

IF* your score is affected, yes your insurance can go up.

They also look at your credit score for insurance... Always try to keep improving that and it'll reduce your costs.

It won’t affect anything, I’ve gotten mine late a couple times. Sometimes I get a reminder sometimes don’t.As far as I know every State issues before the end of each year. Mine ( Michigan) requires they be on the Truck before Feb 1st.Id stop worrying about it, and make a list of deadlines. At least till you become familiar with everything. Arkansas is a pain with their rolling stock tax. Not expensive but aggravating to keep up with. One letter stating value, then wait for the bill.
